It’s such a great song, I really want there to be an updated remake of this. There was the Franz Ferdinand one, but it’s a bit too straightforward. I’d like to see something halfway between this one by Melvis and the Jive Cats, and this one by Hillbilly Moon Explosion. Like if you could have Melvis’s upright-led rhythm, tone and texture but put in the energy, vox, and unpretentious color of the Hillbilly moon… hmm..
