Sanders is the king of credibility (trustworthiness) [Brent Budowsky / The Hill]

March 23, 2016

One comment for this article. It confuses “credibility” with “trustworthiness”. Credibility, as it has been used by political and foreign policy commentators, emphasizes your ability/willingness to follow through on threats. Trustworthiness emphasizes your ability/willingness to speak honesty about important subjects.

Sanders is trustworthy. Clinton’s selling point is she is more able to push her political opponents around, but at the cost of being less likely to be honest when claiming to be on your side. (why people want more of this, I can’t for the life of me understand)
